【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthecomposition,size,dimensions,andphysicalpropertiesofflexiblefiberglassblanket,ductwrap,usedtoexternallyinsulateHVACductsusedforthedistributionofconditionairwithinthetemperaturerangeof35x00B0;F(1.7x00B0;C)and250x00B0;F(121x00B0;C).1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Whentheinstallationanduseofthermalinsulationmaterials,accessories,andsystemsmayposesafetyandhealthproblems,themanufacturershallprovidetheuserappropriatecurrentinformationregardinganyknownproblemsassociatedwiththerecommendeduseofthecompany''sproducts,andshallalsorecommendprotectivemeasurestobeemployedintheirsafeutilization.Theusershallestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethods,Section13,inthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
