【摘要】:AschematicofthesequenceofstepsinvolvedindevelopmentofaLCAisshowninFig.1.Alifecycleassessment(LCA)consistsoffourindependentelements(seeFig.1),whichhavebeenstandardizedinternationally(ISO14040seriesStandards,1997-1999).Theseare:5.1.1Definitionofgoalandscope,5.1.2Lifecycleinventoryanalysis(LCI),5.1.3Lifecycleimpactassessment(LCIA),and5.1.4Lifecycleinterpretation.FIG.1OverviewProcessforEvaluatingandReportingEnvironmentalPerformanceofBiobasedProducts1.1Environmentalperformanceshallbemeasuredusingthelife-cycleassessment(LCA)approach.LCAisa"cradle-to-grave"approachthatevaluatesallstagesinthelifeofaproduct,includingrawmaterialacquisition,productmanufacture,transportation,useandultimately,recycling(thatis,"cradletocradle"andwastemanagement).1.2LCAsforbiobasedproductsshallbeconductedandcommunicatedinasimilarmanner,includingconsistentboundaryconditions,functionalunits,environmentalindicators,andreportingformats.1.3Thispracticeislimitedtoenvironmentalperformancemetricsandexcludesothermetricssuchasthoserelatedtoeconomicsandsocialequity.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
