【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsmeasurethe(wet)tensilebreakingstrengthofpaper,paperproducts,andpaperboard(excludingcorrugatedboard)whensaturatedwithwater.Thesetestmethodsareintendedforusewithpapersandpaperproductsthatwillbesubjectedtostresswhilewetduringprocessingoruse,includingbutnotlimitedtotissueproducts,papersusedinmap-making,photographyandblueprints,bags,andfoodwraps.Twotestmethodsaredescribed;oneforsamplesthatareabletobehandledwhilewetwithoutdamage,andoneforsamples,suchastissue,thatareeasilydamagedorimpossibletohandlewhilewet.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
